BiographyCharlotte Harding (1873-1951) was born in Newark New Jersey before her family moved to Philadelphia. In 1893, she studied at the Philadelphia School of Design for Women under Robert Henri.In 1894, Harding received a fellowship to attend the PAFA. She also studied with illustrator Howard Pyle at Drexel Institute from 1894-1900. She set up a studio with fellow illustrator Alice Barber Stephens on Chestnut Street in Philadelphia.
Harding illustrated for Century, Harper's Ladies Home Journal, Saturday Evening Post, and many others.
