BiographyCharlotte Harding (1873-1951) was born in Newark New Jersey before her family moved to Philadelphia. In 1893, she studied at the Philadelphia School of Design for Women under Robert Henri.

In 1894, Harding received a fellowship to attend the PAFA. She also studied with illustrator Howard Pyle at Drexel Institute from 1894-1900. She set up a studio with fellow illustrator Alice Barber Stephens on Chestnut Street in Philadelphia.

Harding illustrated for Century, Harper's Ladies Home Journal, Saturday Evening Post, and many others.
