DescriptionContains 72 drawings. This is the smallest book in the collection and contains drawings in a wide variety of media. It begins with figure studies in Spain from the summer of 1989 and continues to Mexico, concluding with scenes from San Miguel de Allende where the artist was to settle. At least 2 dozen of the drawings deal with different aspects of the nightlife of that town. Themes of musicians, dancers, drinkers, and smokers appealed to Miller. He has written that revelers were his perfect subject - unselfconscious, relaxed and above all, after a few drinks, unlikely to notice an artist sketching them.On View
