BiographyRichbourg, who lives in Burlington, Vermont, studied at the University of California, Los Angeles. Renowned for his watercolors and oil paintings of baseball players and games, Richbourg pays homage to his father, Lance Richbourg, Sr., who played for the Boston Braves, the New York Giants, and the Philadelphia Phillies from 1921-32. Throughout his career, Richbourg has drawn inspiration for his baseball subjects from figure studies of the Dutch master Rembrandt and paintings of male boxers by Thomas Eakins from the 1890s.
