DescriptionContains 24 drawings and collages. Apart from one drawing from Greece and another from Bali this book was used for collage studies. Diverse materials such as torn pieces of watercolor paintings, photos, postage stamps, product labels and wrapping paper were used to refer at least abstractly to specific sites. "Cycladic Islands, Summer, 1989" is composed of part of an airmail envelope and a paper Greek flag picked up from the street after an election event. Throughout, Miller's affection for the found object is evident; a way to take away from a locale not only an image but also physical traces from that place.On View
