DescriptionContains 48 drawings. From December 1986 to February 1987 Miller used this book on his first trip to S.E. Asia beginning with Hong Kong and continuing on to Thailand. The final pages are drawings of Penan, Malaysia. Concentrating on the venerable rather than the modern, he captured the architecture and urban streets as they were - a world quickly changing as the momentum of growth began to sweep away the old Asia in the 1980s.On View
