DescriptionContains 28 drawings. Pulau Duyong is an island lying in the mouth of theTerengganu River on the east coast of Malaysia. In a guesthouse overhanging the river, (Awi's Yellow House') Miller did these studies of the other travelers in March and April, 1989. These sketches date from the same stay in which the much larger watercolors in 2015.25.46 were painted. Miller was to return to the Island four times, most recently in 2011.On View
