BiographyFrom a very young age, as with many artists, Colleen Browning was interested in art. Her talent was encouraged when she attended an English provincial art school and was later accepted into London's famous Slade School of Art. She spent a demanding and rewarding two years at the School, learning all of the technical skills and historical context necessary for her to develop and succeed as an artist. Browning's paintings are a response to the cultural heritage of her native country, Ireland, where mystical and real imagery is blended together.Person Type(not assigned)
