Lois Tarlow

Tarlow's visions become images through the interaction of words and materials. She is inspired by great texts such as Emily Dickinson's poetry as well as the mundane, such as her weekly planner. After graduating from The Museum School in Boston in the 1950s, she joined the second generation of Boston Expressionists whose work was inspired by observation and world experience. A Brockton, MA native, Tarlow exhibited in New England for over fifty years.
