BiographyBorn in Portland, Oregon, Wert received his B.F.A. from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 1997 and a M.F.A. from Northwestern University in 2001. For more than a decade, his work has been exhibited in both solo and group exhibitions held throughout the country. He now teaches at Lewis and Clark College in his hometown of Portland.
