James Tanaka

Tanaka, a Nevada native, studied art at various institutions, including the Pratt Institute and the Art Students League, New York, on America's East and West coasts. For many years, he worked at Walt Disney Studios and established himself as a very successful and well-known commercial artist. His strong artistic talent may also be seen in jazz posters, such as "Stompin' at the Savoy," for which he earned long-lasting recognition and appreciation.
