DescriptionJanuary 13, 1919

"The last one to come, and he is really ten minutes late, is Arthur James Balfour. Great, tall man he is, too. He has an immense fur collar on a long, black overcoat. He seems like a very well-preserved man, too. There is a slight smile on his face, tho he wears a faraway look in his eyes as tho they were seeing things at a great distance." pg. 200

January 21, 1919

"Balfour and the Italians are having a discussion on the other side of the room, then as the Italians withdraw, Balfour's aides appear from the chamber and talk with him, and Balfour is heard to remark, as he shakes his head vigorously, "Well just who is one to believe anyway after hearing all these different stories?" pg. 202
