Marylin Hafner1925 - 2008

Marilyn Hafner (1925-2008) was a published author, illustrator, and photographer of children's books. She was born in Brooklyn and attended the Pratt Institute.

Hafner illustrated many well-loved children's books, including Jack Prelutsky's "It's Christmas," "It's Halloween," as well as "Hanukkah!" by Roni Schotter, and "A Carnival of Animals" by Sid Fleischman. Hafner was also the write of the Molly and Emmett Series.

Hafner was a mother of two and lived in Cambridge, Massachusetts for 30 years before her death in 2008.
