BiographyNew York-based artist Eva LeWitt creates optically dazzling installations and sculptures fashioned from everyday commercial and industrial materials that she casts, dyes, and cuts by hand. Her large-scale abstract artworks comprise hanging geometric forms and vibrant colors that evoke domestic or theatrical decor, and that explore tensions between gravity and weightlessness, transparency and opacity, abstraction and decoration.
