Leslie Cober-Gentryb. 1963
Leslie Cober-Gentry was born in 1963 and grew up in New York City. Her father was an illustrator and as a child drew side-by-side with him in his studio.
She received a BA from Syracuse University School of Visual Arts and an MFA in Illustration from the University of Hartford. She is an assistant professor at Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC, and Western Connecticut State University in Danbury.
Cober-Gentry is currently on the NBMAA's Low Illustration Committee.
