BiographyPalmer Davis took his first photography class in high school at the age of 16. He went on to study Photography and Filmmaking at Hampshire College, California College of Arts and Crafts, New York University, and the International Center of Photography, where he now teaches. Davis also had a thirty-year career as an award-winning Creative Director for several Madison Avenue advertising agencies, a job that he claims honed his photographic eye. Davis considers his photographs to be intensely personal interpretations of a specific place and time, and through them, he builds narratives and explores the magic and mystery of our everyday lives. For him, a good photograph always provokes and asks a question, and if there is no definite answer, it is all the more fascinating.
