John Himmelfarb

A Harvard graduate, Himmelfarb is a prominent painter, sculptor and printmaker influenced by Abstract Expressionism, a movement noted for its emphasis on subconscious creations. Himmelfarb's work is characterized by its complexity and spontaneity. His parents were painters and introduced him to the art world at a young age. For the past three decades, Himmelfarb has enjoyed great success in many endeavors whether they are solo exhibitions or serving as a visiting artist at institutions including Miami University, Ohio and the University of Florida.
