Howard Munce

A long-time resident of Westport, Connecticut, Howard Munce has had a varied career since the 1930s. For 16 years, he was an advertising agent and director after which he became a freelance graphics designer, illustrator, author, and teacher. He has taught at both the Paier College of Art in Hamden, Connecticut and Fairfield University in Fairfield, Connecticut. Munce co-chairs the New Britain Museum of American Art's Sanford B.D. Low Illustration Committee. He is also a board member of the Westport Art Center.
