DescriptionBroad St., New Britain is a beautifully intricate depiction of the familiar New Britain street. The shops, restaurants, and businesses lining the street are built up into one large monument, which looks to be "under construction" as there are scaffolds and ladders all around it. At the very top, in a window, there is the face of a man and an obscured woman who perhaps are meant to represent ancestral figures of New Britain's Polish community. On View
