DescriptionA Mangabey is a genus of endangered monkeys found only in Africa. There are nine species of Mangabey that live in Sierra Leone, Nigeria, Zaire, Kenya and Tanzania. They are communicative, loud creatures who are unique among monkeys because they use their faces to express their emotions. Kent’s Mangabey, despite appearing mischievous, happily welcomes all visitors to the Museum.
